iShit Privacy Policy
Privacy policy for the iShit mobile app by Black Palm Studios.
Last updated: June 30, 2026
Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Black Palm Studios handles information in connection with the iShit mobile app and related website pages. iShit is a bathroom timer and habit tracker that can turn session activity into statistics, reminders, achievements, and shareable summaries.
The information handled by iShit may vary depending on the app version, device platform, region, and features you enable. This policy uses conditional language where a feature may not be available in every version.
Information iShit collects
Depending on the app version and features enabled, iShit may handle bathroom timer activity, preferences, app settings, achievement progress, and technical information needed to operate or improve the app.
You are not expected to enter the physical details of a bathroom visit. Please do not submit sensitive medical or health information through support messages or other free-text fields.
Bathroom session and timer data
Session data may include timer start and end times, session duration, limits or reminder intervals you select, streaks, and statistics calculated from session history. iShit uses this information to provide timers, warnings, progress views, achievements, and Wrapped-style summaries.
Bathroom session data reflects app activity and is not intended to be a medical record. iShit does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Device and app usage data
If diagnostics, crash reporting, or analytics are used in a version of iShit, technical information may include app version, device type, operating-system version, approximate event timing, feature interactions, crash details, and performance data.
The exact data depends on the tools included in that release and your device or platform settings. Where required, consent or an in-app control will be provided.
Account or waitlist email
If you join the waitlist, contact support, subscribe to updates, or create an account in a version that supports accounts, Black Palm Studios may receive your email address and the information you choose to include.
Email information is used to respond to your request, provide requested updates, administer an account if applicable, and maintain appropriate records of the communication. You may unsubscribe from marketing-style updates using the method provided in the message.
How data is used
Information may be used to operate timers and reminders, calculate statistics and achievements, generate shareable cards at your request, remember preferences, provide support, maintain security, diagnose problems, and improve app reliability.
Black Palm Studios may also use aggregated or de-identified information to understand general product performance where that information does not reasonably identify an individual.
Local storage and cloud sync
Depending on the app version and features enabled, app data may be stored locally on your device. Removing the app, clearing app storage, resetting the device, or losing the device may remove locally stored data.
If cloud sync, backup, or account-based storage is enabled, selected data may be transmitted to and stored by the relevant cloud or platform provider so it can be restored or synchronized. The app should identify that feature before you enable it, and the provider's own privacy terms may also apply.
Third-party services
Depending on the released version, iShit may rely on platform services or third-party providers for functions such as app distribution, payments, subscriptions, cloud storage, crash reporting, analytics, email delivery, or customer support.
If analytics or other optional third-party services are used, they may process technical or usage information under their own privacy policies. Black Palm Studios will update this policy or provide in-app disclosures when material service providers are added.
Data sharing
Information may be disclosed to service providers only as needed to perform services for the app, to comply with applicable law or a valid legal request, to protect users or the security of the service, or as part of a business transaction where legally permitted.
Shareable iShit cards are created for you to share. Nothing is posted to a social network unless you choose to use your device's sharing tools or another service.
Data retention
Locally stored information remains on your device until it is deleted through available app controls, app storage is cleared, or the app is removed, subject to device backups.
If account, cloud, waitlist, analytics, or support data is used, it may be retained for as long as needed to provide the relevant feature, respond to requests, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and maintain reasonable business records. Retention periods may differ by data type and provider.
Children's privacy
iShit is not intended for children under 13 or the minimum digital-consent age that applies in their region. Black Palm Studios does not knowingly seek personal information from children through the app.
If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact Black Palm Studios so the situation can be reviewed and appropriate steps can be taken.
User controls
Depending on the app version, controls may allow you to change reminders, reset statistics, delete local history, manage cloud sync, adjust analytics choices, or manage an account. Device settings may also provide controls for notifications, app storage, backups, and permissions.
For questions about accessing, correcting, or deleting information associated with support, a waitlist email, cloud features, or an account, contact Black Palm Studios. Identity verification may be required before fulfilling certain requests.
